There is no limit to the number of users. You can independently add new users and assign rights to use KIS.MANAGER at any time. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

A distinction is made between the following roles:<\/p>\n

Admin:<\/strong> A highly privileged user who can manage the system (e.g. create users and assign devices to workspaces). This is usually the responsible KIS.ME employee. This role is automatically assigned when the company account is registered or created. <\/p>\n

Installer:<\/strong>A user who is responsible for a specific group of devices or for a specific application (e.g. creating dashboards and shopfloor plans, creating rules and metrics). This is usually a foreman or a process manager. <\/p>\n

Observer:<\/strong> A restricted user with read-only access. This is usually a production manager or managing director who does not want to configure the KIS.MANAGER himself. <\/p>\n

The KIS.API is a REST API for our cloud platform KIS.MANAGER, which makes it possible to access your data with third-party systems. With this API you can, for example, read out all devices, data points and key figures from the HIS.MANAGER. The triggering of rules is also possible. This allows you, for example, to change the colour of a KIS.ME unit via API command or to activate one of the digital outputs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Another function is the possibility of a websocket notification when a rule is activated. This means that third-party systems, such as ERP or MES systems, can be easily informed when a button is pressed or a digital input is changed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
